It is looking like another weekend to enjoy the lake area.
Friday thru Sunday we are expecting temperatures in the 70's- mid 80's with a 30% chance of showers on Sunday.

1st Annual Lake of the Ozarks Blues and BBQ Weekend
Beginning at 10am on the Bagnell Dam Strip Lake Ozark, MO
A three day event consisting of amateur and professional BBQ chefs. In addition to the BBQ competition there will be musical entertainment, vendor village, winery displays and various other outdoor events.

The coming events at the Lake of the Ozarks

So today the weather is again warm and sunny with highs in the 90's. By Thursday they are saying rainy and a high in the 60's. It will be a nice reprieve and it is only lasting a couple of days. Come Saturday June 2, 2012 we will be back in the 80's and in the 90's by Sunday.
This past weekend was Memorial weekend and the lake area was very busy. Lots of people enjoying the water.
Here is a list of some of the upcoming events for the weekend of June 1-3, 2012. I will give more details as the weekend gets closer.

So Memorial Day weekend is quickly approaching.
The weather is suppose to be sunny and warm throughout most of the long weekend, with highs in the 90's and only slight chances of rain on Sunday and Monday.
That means it is definitely time for sunscreen!!!!

A concert with a popular lake band.

Sunday May 27, 2012

Fireworks at Tan-Tar-A located at Mile Marker #26 by boat or State Rd KK by land
Starting when the sun goes down.

Fireworks at Lodge of the Four Seasons located at Mile Marker #13 by boat or
Horseshoe Bend Parkway by land. Starting when the sun goes down.

Everybody be extra careful over the long weekend, lots of events going on and alot of traffic.

This weekend at the Lake

Once again we are expecting great weather for the upcoming weekend. Day time highs in the mid to upper 80's and night time lows in the 60's. Only slight chances of rain, with the highest chance being 30% on Sunday. The pollen level is high, but what's new?

3rd Annual Dam to Dam Power Boat Fun Run
Friday is the meet and greet at Paradise Restaurant in Sunrise Beach 5pm-close.
Saturday the run starts at Miller's Landing at 7:30am, travel to Warsaw with stops along the way, stay the night in Warsaw and return on Sunday. This is not a race, it's just a fun time to get out and enjoy the lake, whether you have a pontoon, racer or cruiser. Contact Michael Brainard 573-571-7400 for more info.

Oma and Noma Heritage Festival
Bagnell Dam Strip Lake Ozark, MO
Celebrating the first crossing of Bagnell Dam by Oma and Noma DeGraffenried in 1931.
Dress in era style clothing and enjoy an old fashioned festival. This event includes an
assortment of local musicians, craft artisans, country dancing, Little Mr/Miss Oma and Noma
Days contest, historical exhibits, a 5K run, vintage car show and dam crossing, checker tournament,

Of course next weekend, May 25-28th, 2012 will be the Memorial Day weekend.

It is another sunny and beautiful day here at the lake.
The upcoming weekend is suppose to be mostly sunny with highs in the mid to upper 80's,
with only slight chances of rain.
