Memorial Day Weekend!!!!

The Memorial Day Weekend is almost here. Are you ready???

The Bagnell Dam Outreach will kick off their 4th season of free Christian concerts
and more at 8pm. The featured band is the "Sanctified Blues Band". Every weekend
through Labor Day the Outreach will present free family Christian bands performing
rock, blues, southern gospel and praise and worship music. The free events also
showcase drama, comedy and dance teams, as well as puppet shows for kids.

Ozark Yacht Club is encouraging all boat owners to join in the Annual Parade of Lights on
Saturday May 24, 2014 to celebrate Memorial Day. Power and sail boats are welcome to participate in the parade commemorating U.S. men and women who served their country. Participants will assemble at
OYC in Jennings Branch Cove (MM1). Refreshments will be available. Departure will begin at 8:30pm,
proceeding along Bagnell Dam in front of Willmore Lodge continuing west 2 miles. Then  will return
along the south side of the lake back to OYC. Following the parade there will be several awards given
out in numerous categories. Call for details to register to participate.

BRRRRR the weekend is coming, but where is the warm weather??

The weekend weather here at the Lake of the Ozarks is looking a little chilly.
It is suppose to start warming up a bit everyday, but still cool.


Friday the high is suppose to be about 60 degrees with only a 10% chance of rain.

Saturday the high is suppose to climb to 66 degrees and still only a 10% chance of rain.

Sunday the high is suppose to get up to 70 degrees and no rain expected.

This is an annual event to promote dancing for better health and happiness. Proceeds
raised from the event are donated to the Alzheimer's Assoc. This year there is an option
 to attend 2 days of dance activities. Friday night will include a casual dance social with
 buffet. Saturday will include breakfast , followed by three dance workshops. Saturday
evening is the Forget Me Not Ball. This black-tie event features a gourmet dinner,
professional dance showcase followed by open dancing for the public.

Valentine's Celebration at Bridal Cave

2014 Mardi Gras Pub Crawl

When: February 15, 2014     3:00pm to close

Where: Multiple Venues

 What:  The lakes biggest winter event! Over 20 bars and restaurants will participate
             in the 2014 Pub Crawl. Purchase a $10 wristband, which gets you bus
             transportation to all locations, as well as entry in to all participating locations
             including pick up and drop off to sponsoring hotels.

2014 Lake Polar Plunge

When: February 22, 1024

Where: Public Beach #2  Lake of the Ozarks    Osage Beach, MO       573-635-1660

What: This "unbearable" event is a unique opportunity to show your bravery as you
           support local Special Olympics athletes by walking, running, or crawling into
           the frigid winter waters. Proceeds benefit Special Olympics Missouri's year-
           round program of sports training and competition for children and adults with
           intellectual disabilities. Participants must be at least 10 years old and raise a
           minimum of $75 by event day. The Polar Plunge is a project of the Law
           Enforcement Torch Run(R) for Special Olympics Missouri. The Osage Beach
