Cold front came through!!

Wow, the cold front came through a short time ago. We got maybe enough rain to get the sidewalks wet and the temperature fell to 86 degrees. Tomorrow yep we are back to 100 and then the upper 90's for the rest of the weekend. For those of us old enough to remember when there was no air conditioning, then woohoo a window air conditioner for maybe one room of the house, we are so happy to embrace central air.
I have heard they predicted above average temperatures until at least October, we will see if they are right. My worry is that gas prices have risen, they say food prices will be rising due to the dry conditions and heaven only knows what kind of electric bills we will be receiving soon. Where do normal everyday people get the extra money to pay all of this?
Ah well on to better news. My sister, my son, my nephew and his wife are headed for the lake this weekend. We will have a great time even if it is hot.
I hope eveyone has a great and safe weekend.

What to do this weekend?????

Yes, the weather man says it is going to stay nice and toasty here at the lake for the coming weekend.
Today is the coolest day forecasted out of the next 10. Today's high is suppose to be a nice cool 95 degrees. Saturday and Sunday are both going to be over that 100 degree mark again, with little to no chance of rain. Only real chance of rain in the forecast is a week from now and only a 30 percent chance at that. So besides enjoying (ha ha) the weather, what is going on this weekend?

On Saturday July 21st you can partake in AquaPalooza-the world's largest on water party.
It is from noon until 6pm at Dog Days Bar and Grill in Osage Beach.

Also on Saturday July 21 at 8:30pm you can go to Ha Ha Tonka State Park for the Night Hike.

So everybody have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
